data transparency

once you sign in, this page lists every kind of record sol pbc keeps for your sign-in. we never hold a readable copy of your journal, and we don't collect a phone number. we keep the network address each of your sessions came from, encrypted, and this page shows it shortened. if you pay for a service, Stripe holds your card, the name on it and your billing address. to answer a billing question, an operator can see details such as the card's brand, its last four digits, the name and the billing address in Stripe's own dashboard. the services portal and the hosted services never ask Stripe for your card's details or keep them; the privacy policy says who else can see them there, and why.

no analytics, no behavioral data, no third-party tracking: that isn't a promise, it's a structural commitment under Article 8 of our articles of incorporation (restated 2026-05-01) and Article III of the bylaws.
